From: Peggy Nelson

Dear Friends and Supporters,

Because of your generosity, compassion, and belief in our mission, the International Friendship Club Puerto Vallarta continues to create meaningful change in the lives of so many in our community.

We are proud to share our latest Impact Report with you — a reflection of what we have accomplished together over the past year. Every scholarship awarded, every family supported, and every opportunity created has been made possible through your kindness and commitment.

Your support is more than a donation; it is hope, encouragement, and a reminder that caring communities can transform lives. We are deeply grateful to stand alongside people like you who believe in building a brighter future for Puerto Vallarta. Thank you for helping to make this extraordinary impact possible

With gratitude,
International Friendship Club Puerto Vallarta

Health & Rehabilitation

  • Clinica de Rehabilitacion Sta. Barbara – IFC’s $50000MXN grant funded additional treatment for 40 more clients who otherwise would not have been able to afford it, bringing the total number of rehabilitation treatments to 915 patients
  • Pasitos de Luz – Funding supported hydrotherapy services for 130 children with disabilities, benefiting 80 families with specialized rehabilitation care.
  • Aid to Families of Children with Cancer (AFCC) – Grants funded transportation for cancer treatments, food baskets for 23 families, and educational assistance for children undergoing treatment.

Children & Family Support

  • Casa Hogar Máximo Cornejo – IFC funding supported housing, food, utilities, medical care, and education for 26 vulnerable children living in the shelter.
  • Dives en Misericordia – Grants provided meals and food baskets for vulnerable families while supporting childcare services that allow parents to work.
  • Santa Esperanza Children’s Shelter (RISE) – Funding helped provide nutrition and infant formula for 35 children in protective custody receiving 24/7 care.
  • Salvation Army (Ejército de Salvación) – IFC support helped provide daily lunches for 50–60 children in an underserved community.
  • Vallarta Cares – Grants expanded soup kitchen operations, increasing food security services for marginalized residents.

Education & Youth Development

  • Vallarta Abuelos – IFC helped provide backpacks and school supplies for up to 700 at-risk students.
  • Instituto de Artes Musicales de Puerto Vallarta (IAMPV) – Funding supported music teachers, instruments, orchestra members, and educational programs reaching over 5,000 people annually.
  • Volcanes Community School (VCS) – IFC support helped provide free after-school education, English, computer, and music classes to more than 300 students.
  • Leer y Crecer Program – Grants funded books, teacher training, and library spaces in five schools, benefiting approximately 1,000 students.
  • Wixárika Research Center – Funding helped seven indigenous university students cover educational and living expenses.
  • Vallarta School for Girls – IFC support provided school supplies and educational support for 40 girls from underserved communities.
  • Alas Escuela de Canto – Grants funded uniforms, instruments, and teachers for children and adults participating in performing arts education.

Together, these partnerships are improving health, strengthening families, expanding educational opportunities, and building a brighter future for thousands throughout Puerto Vallarta.

Thank you for making this work possible.
