What I Like About Volunteering…

"A few years ago I started volunteering at the front desk, and that too has been a consistent pleasure. The work is not onerous, and Josue and Paul are very generous with their help and support. I usually work there Thursdays, and unlike other volunteer jobs I’ve had, here and in Canada, I always look forward to spending my time there. It’s a part of the fabric of my life here, and one of the reasons I can never walk very far in Vallarta without running into someone I know. How great is that, eh?"

"I truly enjoy meeting new people and find great fulfillment in contributing to the IFC community. I also agree wholeheartedly with the IFC mission statement. Since I am not bilingual, I am limited in how hands-on I can be within the broader community. However, I’ve found my niche in supporting the club, which in turn allows me to indirectly support the charities we partner with.

Volunteering also gives me the opportunity to be creative while helping strengthen the connections that make our club such a special place."
