LEER Y CRECER PROGRAM

LEER Y CRECER (Read and Grow) is an outreach program at the American School conducted by student volunteers from their National Honor Society and other aspirants within the school. This 20-year-old flagship program provides books and reading materials to elementary schools (grades 1-6) in poor, underprivileged communities in greater Puerto Vallarta. Additionally, the NHS students train teachers and parents how to engage students in the process of reading to enhance their quality of life and future success.
