Happy New Year Happy Hikers!
1. WHO: All of you who have confirmed.
WHAT: We will take a 45 minute bus ride to Boca de Tomatlán where our hike will start. This 45 minute hike has a few steep areas at the beginning but then flattens out for the most part with a few downward slopes. We will have incredible views of the Bay of Banderas, walk through serene groves of trees and arrive at a breathtakingly beautiful spot overlooking Colomitos Beach. After sunning and swimming at the Beach, we will hike back to Boca and have lunch on the beach before returning to PV by bus.
WHERE: Bus stop at the corner of Basilio Badillo/Constitution Ave (You’ll see the OxxO.)
WHEN: Friday, Jan, 10, 9am at the bus stop
2. WHAT TO WEAR: Wear a bathing suit under hiking clothes and appropriate walking/hiking shoes that may get wet. NO FLIP FLOPS.
3. WHAT TO BRING: Ideally, you’ll put the following into a light-weight backpack as you’ll want your hands free: water, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, quick dry towel, money-10 pesos each way bus and lunch and clothes to change into at Boca (if you’re hiking ones are wet from your bathing suit).
