Guest Lecture–Therapist Giselle Belanger, RN, LCSW–Dealing With Grief

Grief has many layers and stages. When it happens to us, we are often completely unprepared for the overwhelming feelings it brings. Join me in a discussion around grief and our experiences with it. My goal is to broaden your understanding of it, as well as validate your experiences with it. I will also touch on ways to represent and honor your loved one throughout the year and especially around holidays, and other important days such as birthdays and anniversaries.

Giselle is a registered nurse and a licensed clinical therapist. She is bilingual and bicultural. Over the past 37 years Giselle has divided her time living between Mexico and the United States she has gained a wealth of knowledge and experience living and working in a foreign country, which has carried over into her work.
